About U Svegliu Calvese
Our story
U Svegliu Calvese is a reality which is now well established in Calvi, especially in the region of Balagna and in Corsica in general. Since its creation in 1981 by Blaise Orsini and with the help from the community, the association was able to become an institution for the city of Calvi. It has been a real knowledge in the cultural world, a haven and even a support.

Membership
U Svegliu Calvese proposes a few ways to be a member and you can choose which will suit you the best. For the small amout of 20€ come and be part of what we would call a family, a team, a group of friends or whatever you would like but know that you are always welcome !

And with all that, nature also faints… winds, storms, floods, fires…
Do you see the paradox? Is there anything that makes you laugh here? How do you understand it?

Yet we must be optimistic, we must face it, aware that we are of the transience of things and of the "Unsustainable lightness of being".
Always oscillating between severity and ease.
We are here to find a balance and to bring each other some moments of happiness.
This is how human beings must find their true reason for hope.
This hope brings us back, all of us, together, young and old with a more vivid motivation.
We need you to make sense of our actions, for our children, for the elderly, and for those who want to believe in our future. It is your confidence that builds and strengthens our consciousness.

We are pleased to inform you that we can now issue you a tax receipt, which will allow you to deduct the amount paid, under the following conditions:
• You are a trader operating in a sole proprietorship, and you pay income tax in the industrial and commercial profit category: your tax reduction is 66%.
Example: You make a donation of € 200. The tax reduction is: 200 x 66% = € 132.
Your payment will only cost you € 68.
• You are a company subject to corporate tax: your tax reduction is 60%.
Example: You make a donation of € 500. The tax reduction is: 500 x 60% = € 300.
Your payment will only cost you € 200.
